🍃 Alfresco

Alfresco is an enterprise content management (ECM) and process management platform. It is widely used by companies that need to store, organize, control, version, share, and protect documents and other types of digital content.

It was originally created by Alfresco Software Inc. and was acquired by Hyland Software in 2020. Alfresco can be used both on-premises (installed on own servers) and in the cloud.

🚀 Installation via Marketplace

  1. In the SaveinCloud platform panel, go to the MARKETPLACE.;
  2. In the search bar, look for Alfresco;
  3. Click Install.

A few moments after the environment is created, you will receive the access credentials by email to manage the Alfresco platform.

After installation, access the Alfresco home page and click "Alfresco Repository" to find other configuration options.

Upon accessing, you will see some options, which are:

  • "Online Documentation": Official Alfresco documentation.

  • "Alfresco WebDav": Interface to access Alfresco documents as if it were a network folder.

  • "Alfresco WebScripts Home (admin only – INTERNAL)": Area for developers and administrators to create and test WebScripts.

  • "Alfresco API Explorer": Interface to explore and test Alfresco's REST API.

  • "Alfresco Administration Console (admin only)": Panel for system administrators.

  • "Alfresco Forums": Alfresco community forum.

  • "Alfresco JIRA": Former official bug tracker and feature request system for Alfresco.

  • "CMIS 1.0 AtomPub Service Document": CMIS-based endpoint, standard for integration between content management systems.

  • "CMIS 1.0 Web Services WSDL Document": WSDL document describing SOAP services compatible with CMIS.

  • "CMIS 1.1 AtomPub Service Document": Updated version of the CMIS AtomPub.

  • "CMIS 1.1 Browser Binding URL": CMIS 1.1 endpoint that uses JSON calls via browser.
